[ 04 ]Who we are

Locally led.
Group backed.

Harvieston Thailand is the Asian entity of a Scottish property and hospitality group. We run independently here — our own team, our own market, our own decisions — on standards formed over three decades of estate stewardship at home.

the mandate.

The office is intentionally small. Every engagement is overseen personally, and the person who agrees the standard is the person who is there when it has to be kept.

Koh Samui · Bangkok

Kenneth leads Harvieston in Thailand: owner representation, operating oversight and the cross-border conversations that bring international owners and investors together with Thai market reality. English and Thai, on the ground between Koh Samui and Bangkok, with the contractor, staffing, agency and partner relationships through which serious owner representation actually happens.

[ 04.02 ]The group behind us

Rooted in Scotland.
Working in Asia.

The Harvieston group operates country estates, serviced accommodation, event venues and hospitality businesses across Midlothian and the Highlands, with roots in the Harvieston estate whose history reaches back to the medieval landscape of Catcune. That is the lineage we work from — and the reason our standards here are not improvised.

[ 04.03 ]Hosting, in practice

A working room.
Not a press shot.

Guest readiness is a recurring discipline: the table dressed, the room prepared, the staff briefed, the account reconciled. That cadence is what we brought to Thailand — the same checks, run against a villa in Samui rather than a hall in Midlothian.

What carries
across both worlds.

  1. 01

    Stewardship before yield

Long-term value is the product of standards, not shortcuts. We protect what the property is before optimising what it earns.

  2. 02

    Discretion as a discipline

Private engagements stay private. No public client lists, no broadcast case studies, no boasting about counterparties.

  3. 03

    Operational honesty

We report what we see, including what is uncomfortable. Owners are served better by accurate ledgers than flattering ones.

  4. 04

    Local execution, international expectation

We meet international owners at their standard while remaining fluent in how things actually get done in Thailand.
